I clearly remember life before I stared my first business, I had precious little time to myself and I did not spend nearly as much time as I wanted to with my children.

My first venture was franchise based.
However I did not receive anything like the level of support or marketing that I had been promised. Promise after promise failed to be delivered and the heavy royalty fees month on month seemed to be inconsistent with the support that I received.
This experience tainted my views of franchises a little and I decided to go it alone.
Once you have started your first business you gain the confidence to try anything, and a while later, personal experience showed me that there was a real gap in the market for a professional introduction service which offered security and confidentiality at a price that was affordable.
This business model is the result of many years of hard work which stemmed from that decision.
I believe that honesty is vitial in any business relationship and this is no different. In the early days of almost any business it will be hard work. Long hours and a lot of stress for very little reward, but if you can stick with it you will build a successful business which can provide you with a healthy income and a very flexible lifestyle.
Perhaps even more importantly, you will enjoy your work.
I am not suggesting for a second that you will get out of bed singing and dancing each morning, but you can enjoy what you do - and you no longer need to dread Mondays or look back on weekends wondering where the time went.
